Anticipation

3 more sleeps till Willy gets home! We're all excited and our main joy this holiday season will be having our entire family together again. There may not be room for a tree, but there's certainly room to make tamales and all our goodies!

It's been hard and different without Willy. I know things will never be what they used to be, that's part of life. Kids grow up, people change. But I'm looking forward to seeing the change and growth in my son. It's only been 4 months but separation and independence can do a lot to a person in a little time.


I know it's been especially hard on him, it's tough when it seems like there's no one familiar around, there's a lot of comfort in the "familiar" and he's not had that for a while. But he gets to come home and surround himself with that once again.

Don't worry baby, the house looks just the same as when you left it, and you'll still be washing your own dirty clothes :) .....so don't think we've changed too much either :)
