I got *something* done!

Yippie! I got a few layouts done this weekend and a few cards too! I've got to get my card collection up and ready for Christmas giving.

I work with so many people and have several teachers gifts to give that buying gifts is just too hard. So I make tons of sets of cards, bundle them nice and pertty and give them out as gifts for Christmas. My coworkers really appreciate them and it's a ton better than giving/receiving cookies and candy, although it's nice to make the treats I like to give something a little less "caloric" :) Here are a few contributions to my stash:



Stampin up Tag set was one of the Sell-a-Bration sets this year. I really didn't know what to do with them and didn't care too much for them but now I'm lovin 'em!

Photo lessons with Teena!

Teena and I have gone out now two weeks in a row for "camera" lessons.

Last Sunday we went out the the Japanese Gardens in Hayward get her used to shooting in "greenery" since she'll be going to Hawaii in a couple of weeks for her sons wedding! Did I mention I *hate* her??? LOL

She got portraits of her dd and boyfriend and I got to pull out my lens baby and play!






Then we got out last night and shot fireworks after the A's game! Except for the game going extra innings and having to wait for the show, it was a great time! I can't wait to see her pictures, gotta make her get a blog pretty soon :) In the meantime, here are some of mine:

The up-side of my job

Is that I have plenty of opportunities to practice my photography skills, especially my action shots!

These girls have won over my heart! They ROCK!

Ha! No pics to share, no stories to tell. Work is kicking my bootay, I'm beat, exhausted, tired and oh so sick of work right now!

I want to create and make pictures but I've no strength or will to do any of that!

BUT I did get a trashy novel read in two days! Well, it wasn't too trashy, but mindless reading nonetheless. Felt good.

My little noodle head is now my macaroni head.

He's happy and loves his new look. Although, I'm still traumatized :)

His brothers are still unsure of his new look LOL

It's a girl!!!

Wohoo, I got to practice on a GIRL today! This is my buddy, she was a wonderful model and we had bunches of fun today! :)

Isn't she gorgeous! I shot manual most taken with 85 mm 1.8, except the brick wall ones, those were taken w/ 50mm.

I ran an Acid action on some and others didn't need anything but a soft blur. I'm so excited at how these turned out, keeping my fingers crossed mom and daughter like them!
